Understanding space as a storytelling medium, my work explores different ways of displaying objects and narratives, transgressing traditional museum practices and establishing exhibition design as a determining factor in the conception of interpretive spaces. I have designed exhibitions at numerous cultural institutions internationally.

I have focused most of design practice towards the museum field and the design of narrative spaces. At the Art Institute of Chicago I held the Creative Director of Exhibition Design role for almost a decade, leading the design of temporary and permanent exhibitions campus wide. Before that, at Ralph Appelbaum Associates (NY), I collaborated on the inception and conceptualization of museums internationally. In Mexico City, I was part of the design teams that brought to life the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo, the Centro Cultural Universitario Tlatelolco and the Museo Nacional de la Revolución Mexicana

I’ve also collaborated with multiple institutions such as ICA Philadelphia, Chicago Cultural Center, The Detroit Institute of Arts, Museo Amparo (Puebla), Museo del Objeto (CDMX), Museo Nacional de Arte (CDMX) among others.
